Countdown to the Kiddos - Seven Days!
Our district's new tech coordinator is up to her eyelids in mopping up the messes the old one left behind, it's down to the hours before how much longer the students will be streaming back through the hallways, and my TV and computer still have no sound capabilities. The funding for the laptops the school promised for Fellows must have fallen through, as well, because no mention has been made of them since May. I had to beg just to get a powerstrip. But I've got my overhead projector, which is more than some other teachers can say! Even with scanty amounts of technology, my classroom is a student-ready learning environment! I'm ready to begin this journey!

Emily, I love your blog! The pictures are beautiful and I love the captions! Have you been to any (all?) of these places?
Your comments are also very interesting and it amazes me that in this day and age the technology is so scant. I admire the fact that you are undaunted by it all.
I look forward to hearing all about your first year!

Thank you, Monica. I have only been to Europe, but an international travel festival promises to be in store once I finish Fellows next July!
